Steen Nygaard Madsen Technical Manager​ Steen is our Tanker Technical Manager of ABC Maritime AG and begun his career at sea with A. P. Moller Maersk followed by senior technical positions in shore assignments. Steen has 30 years’ experience in shipping and more than 15 years as technical director managing fleets of Container, Offshore and Tanker vessels at Maersk, Nordic Tankers and most recently Thome Ship Management. Steen completed his study at the Maritime Academy in Denmark supplemented with International Leadership Courses.

Gian-Marco Kern​ MSQE Officer​ Gian-Marco Kern, joined ABC Maritime in 2001​ A Master Mariner for many years , Gian-Marco has undertaken many roles for ABC, including heading our Crewing Agency in Odessa. He has been responsible for Offshore HSE in ABC since 2010. ​

Georges Horsington ​ Head of Offshore​ George Horsington joined ABC in 2018.​ Previously, George was President of Offshore for MMA Offshore and Jaya Holdings with experience managing various over 30 varied vessels Inc. subsea​ He also spent 14 years with Swire Pacific Offshore in a variety of commercial and general management roles.​

Kai Ingwersen Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mr. Kai Ingwersen joined ABC Maritime AG in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer. Kai brings to the Group a wealth of knowledge from the energy and commodities world, working in markers all over Europe, as well as being a driving force behind technological advance in the industries he has been involved in. With Business qualifications from schools in both the USA and Switzerland, Kai plays a pivotal role in shaping our company’s future.

Cpt Mikhail Vasilyev ​ HSEQ Manager Mikhail Vasilyev is a Master Mariner and AFNI. He served 18 years at sea including 5 years in command before taking over MSQ Manager responsibility.​ He joined ABC Maritime AG in 2009 and since 2010 is running the MSQE Department for both Ocean and Offshore fleet.​

Jean-Pascal Arnaud​ Commercial & Contract Officer​ Jean-Pascal ARNAUD joined ABC Maritime at the end of 2020.​ Jean-Pascal worked for 8 years for Bourbon Offshore in several roles in Africa, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean responsible for operations of DP2 vessels.​

Stuart Bartle Chief Operation Officer (COO) Mr. Stuart Bartle first went to sea in 1975, spending over 15 years working on Tankers and Offshore vessels for British Petroleum (BP) up to the rank of Chief Engineer. After coming to ashore as a superintendent, Stuart supervised the conversion of FPSOs FSOs and a luxury superyacht before joining ABC in 2002 as Fleet Manager. Promoted to COO in 2018, Stuart brings to the Group over 40 years of maritime knowledge and engineering experience. Stuart has multiple Marine Engineering qualifications, holds a Combined Chief Engineer’s License and is a Member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology.

Nikolas Theodorou Chief Strategy Officer (CFO) Nikolas Theodorou is the Chief Strategy Officer of ABC Maritime AG and begun his career in several senior regional posts within Royal Dutch Shell, where he collectively managed regions covering the Americas, Asia and much in between with executive positions in Energy (Fossil & Renewable), Shipping, Technology, and Investment Funds. His proven track-record is showcased with developing and executing strategy within multinational organisations and functions including, General Directorship, Commercial, Operations & Finance, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Change Management, HR, Fund Management, Project Management, Public & Private sector Collaborations (PPCs) and Mergers & Acquisitions. Nikolas holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Business Economics from the University of London - Queen Mary & Westfield College and an M.Sc. in International Finance from the University of Surrey.

Daniel Tanner Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Chief Executive Officer at ABC Maritime AG, Mr. Daniel Tanner, who began his career at ABC as ordinary seaman in 2002 onboard an ABC Maritime ship. Over his 8 years in ABC, Daniel has gained firsthand, in-depth experience, in all aspects of the business – especially in projects, commercial and financial. Prior re-joining ABC as CEO, Daniel founded his own company, becoming involved in activities such as liquid bulk freight consultancy, project & ship management and trade advisory. Daniel brings in a fresh look at the family company whilst sharing his father’s values: reliability, perseverance, integrity, ingenuity while being solutions driven.

Cpt Nicolo De Caro​ Operations Manager​ Nicolo de Caro joined ABC Maritime in December 2020.​ Nicolo has worked as an operations manager for the past 20 years, managing several fleets around the world, with significant experience in CPP and DPP vessels of different sizes.​ Involved in ocean operations, he ensures the entire operational aspect of the fleet day by day at the best practice.​
